Discover Queens

The Borough of Queens, located within New York City is filled with a never ending supply of residential and commercial construction activity. This borough saw significant growth with the arrival of the Long Island Rail Road in the 19th century and experienced rapid industrialization and urbanization in the 20th century, making it the hub for manufacturing and transportation. With its close proximity to Manhattan, this led to many construction projects for residential buildings in neighborhoods such as Astoria, Flushing, and Jamaica.

Allied Steel is Queens’ top supplier and fabricator of steel products that contractors use on a day to day basis. We fabricate and deliver what is needed for businesses in this community. Projects are varied, including maintenance projects, restoration, as well as many new buildings, each requiring different metals. At Allied Steel, we can assist schools and local businesses such as construction companies, manufacturing facilities, warehousing and distribution centers, architectural firms, retailers, restaurants and hospitality, as well as automotive shops.
