Structural Channels
Structural steel channels are long, narrow pieces of steel with a “C” or “U” shape. It is often used in construction and industrial applications. Some examples of steel channel being used are for supports in buildings and bridges, framing for window openings, and railing systems. Allied Steel supplies several types of structural steel channels in New York and New Jersey.
Bar Channels: These channels have a flat, narrow shape and are commonly used for framing, bracing, and supporting structures in construction.
Junior Stringer Channels: These channels are also known as stair stringer channels and are specifically designed for use in staircases.
Structural Channels: These channels are also referred to as C-channels or U-channels. They are often used in construction for framing and support beams.
Miscellaneous Channels: These channels have a variety of shapes and sizes and can include tapered channels, or channels with specific design features.
