Steel Sheet

Steel Sheet

Steel sheet is known for its strength and durability. It is used in various industries including construction, automotive, and manufacturing. Steel sheet is frequently used for automotive body parts and panels as well as siding, roofing, and cladding in buildings. Due to its strong resistance to corrosion, steel sheet is also used in the fabrication of machinery, equipment, and appliances. Additionally, sheet metal is often used in the fabrication of stair treads and pour stops.

Hot Rolled Sheet – A Commercial Quality, low carbon steel sheets with mill scaling finish that are typically 0.018 to 0.1875

Hot Rolled Pickled and Oiled Sheet – This is similar to Hot Rolled Sheets, however it has an improved surface finish. This process includes acid pickling which removes surface oxides, followed by applying oil to protect the surface from rust.

Cold Rolled Sheet – A Commercial Quality, low carbon steel sheet that is manufactured at room temperature which offers tighter thickness tolerances and improved surface quality.

Galvanized Sheet – A Commercial Quality, low carbon sheet that is coated with a protective layer of zinc. The zinc coating provides a significant increase in corrosion resistance.

Corten Sheet – Also known as weathering steel, forms a rust like protective surface that provides great resistance to corrosion from outdoor environments
